UEFA President Michel Platini felt unwell while dining at one of the restaurants in Johannesburg and was taken to one of the city's hospitals.

Although initially reported that the Frenchman had suffered a heart attack, this information was later denied.

According to Platini's close aide William Gaillardo, the legendary French footballer was simply exhausted, as signs of weakness had been felt for the past few days.

Platini had to spend the night in the hospital, but at the moment, according to close sources, he is already feeling better.
