The head coach of the German national team Joachim Low after securing third place in the World Cup said that there will come a time when this team will become the strongest in the world.
"The tournament was really good for us, we played well, we took third place," the coach said. "The match with Uruguay was not easy, but in the second half we realized that we had to fight for victory, although of course you are disappointed when you are not in the final."
"This team has a bright future. Many underestimated us before the championship, but we proved that this team can achieve great results. I believe that this generation of the German national team will win many important victories for the country in the future."
Asked about his future with the national team, Low replied: "I haven't decided yet. Yes, the federation leaders want me to stay in the position, but I will announce my decision at least after a few days. I want to consider everything calmly."
