Each Spanish football player would add 600 thousand euros to their account in case of triumph in the World Cup.
Before the competition, captain Iker Casillas and vice-captain Carles Puyol met with the country's football leaders to discuss the size of the bonuses. They are much larger than in 2008 when the Spanish, who won the European Championship, received 360 thousand euros each.
Meanwhile, Spain's opponent in the final, the Netherlands, promises a much smaller amount to their footballers - 300 thousand euros each. The same amount of money will be received by the head coaches.
