Scorer of the winning goal, Spanish national team midfielder Andres Iniesta faced tough questioning from journalists.
In the 116th minute of extra time, the "Barcelona" footballer sealed the victory in the final 1-0 against the Netherlands.
"It's unbelievable," said Iniesta. "What a joy, especially knowing how we did it.
"There are no words to describe how I feel. After scoring, I thought about my family and the people I love. This victory is the fruit of all our hard work."
