Redknapp extended his contract with Tottenham

The leaders of the London club have confirmed that the contract with the head coach Harry Redknapp has been extended until 2013.

The team, coached by the specialist, achieved excellent results last season and finished fourth in the English Premier League, so this year they may qualify for the main stage of the Champions League tournament.

Redknapp took over at Tottenham in 2008 when he moved from Portsmouth.
