Michael Ballack's agent Michael Becker mentioned two months ago about a group of gay footballers in the German national team, as reported by "Der Speigel."
Journalist Alexander Osang, talking about an interview with Becker conducted before the start of the championship, claims to have heard from him that one of the former national team players is ready to reveal the names of all gay players in the team.
Later, Becker himself stated that he was misunderstood. He also stated that he did not agree to publish the interview - German newspapers often give the respondent the right to read and confirm the interview before it is published publicly.
However, Becker did not deny his words, and German football officials refused to comment on this information.
