The team confirmed that they have agreed to sell defender Emiliano Insua to an Italian club.

Although the amount is not disclosed, the statement released by Liverpool team says that the player is allowed to negotiate with Fiorentina for a personal contract.

The 21-year-old Argentine arrived at Liverpool in January 2007 from Boca Juniors. Since then, he has played 62 matches for the team and scored 1 goal.
