Club coach Sir Alex Ferguson expressed concern that due to ongoing injuries, goalkeeper Owen Hargreaves could end his football career altogether.
The 29-year-old Englishman has played only 20 seconds in the team ranks since joining "Man Utd" in 2008. Just as he appeared on the field, he immediately suffered another serious injury.
The return of the goalkeeper was expected a few months ago. There were reports that Hargreaves could even travel with the England national team to the World Cup. But all plans were disrupted by injuries once again.
According to Ferguson, the player is currently back in the hands of doctors and cannot fully train with the team.
