Martinas Jolas rejected the offer from London and will stay at the helm of the Amsterdam "Ajax" team.
The English club hoped that the experienced specialist would agree to replace Roy Hodgson this week, who moved to "Liverpool", but the Dutchman decided to stay in his homeland.
"Yes, "Fulham" showed interest in me, but I am staying in Amsterdam," Jolas told "De Telegraaf."
However, according to the BBC, the coach has not yet made a final decision and may change his mind if the conditions of the "Fulham" offer are too good to be rejected.
The 54-year-old Jolas has already worked in England - he coached London's "Tottenham" for three years.
