The German Football Federation officially confirmed that they have extended the contract with the head coach of the national team, Joachim Low.
The tactician, who led the team to third place in the world championships, should lead the team through the qualification for the 2012 European Championship and during the tournament itself, of course, if the Germans qualify.
Depending on the results of the German national team, the contract after the 2012 European Football Championship may be extended for an even longer period.
Contracts with the national team have also been extended for assistant coach Hansi Flick, team manager Oliver Bierhoff, and goalkeeper coach Andreas Koepke.
