Xavi is convinced that London's "Arsenal", by dragging out negotiations with "Barcelona" regarding the sale of Cesco Fabregas, is only delaying the inevitable.
Rumors about the Spanish club actively seeking to acquire the English midfielder do not stop, but negotiations are stalled due to "Arsenal" not wanting to lose one of their team leaders.
"We know where Cesc wants to play next season, but the clubs probably ran out of time to agree," Xavi said to "Daily Express". "Arsenal" needs to understand that they are simply postponing the inevitable.
"If they fail to acquire him this year, he will be like loaned to the London team for another year, as nothing will prevent him from going to Barcelona next summer."
