A few days of wandering have come to an end - Martin Jolas rejected the offer from London and will remain at the helm of Amsterdam.
Earlier, the specialist had already agreed on contract terms with the English team, but changed his mind and decided to stay in his homeland.
"The club leaders clearly hinted that they do not want to let me go, so I don't think I can do that," Jolas told the Ajax website.
"Last summer I came here to achieve results, build a good team, and feel pleasure - we will try to do that next season."
Fulham is looking for a new coach after Roy Hodgson moved to Liverpool.
