Anatolijus Timoščiukas should not expect a place in the main lineup of Munich next season, so he should look for a new team, says German champions' strategist Louis van Gaal.
The versatile football player joined Bayern's team a year ago, but he failed to secure a spot in the starting eleven.
"Timoščiukas' prospects here are not very bright," van Gaal openly stated. "Bastian Schweinsteiger is demonstrating the best game of his career, and Mark van Bommel is the captain. So the situation is difficult.
"If a player is not playing and his prospects are not promising, I would advise him to leave. I wouldn't stop anyone from doing it except for the captain and maybe three or four other players."
