Hughes takes over the reins at Fulham © EuroFootball.com

The new head coach of Fulham in London will be Mark Hughes in the near future, as announced by the BBC.

The club confirmed that they intend to announce the new strategist within 48 hours.

Hughes will replace Roy Hodgson, who accepted an offer from Liverpool.

In 2008, Hughes took over at the helm of the wealthy Man City, but was dismissed after a year and a half.
