The new head coach of the Argentine national team could be appointed Alejandro Sabella in the near future, reports the BBC.
The 59-year-old specialist currently coaches "Estudiantes" in Buenos Aires.
"In Argentina, coaching the national team is a dream for everyone," said "Estudiantes" representative Sergio Neveleff. "As a fan and member of this club, I hope he will not accept the offer."
Among the candidates, the name of "Racing Club" strategist Miguel Angel Russo is also mentioned.
