The injury of Club Legionnaire Henrik Larsson from Sweden turned out to be much more serious than previously expected. The 33-year-old footballer, who was predicted to have a six-week injury, will most likely not play this season. He tore the cruciate ligaments in his left knee, and the treatment will take about six months.
Unofficially, it is said that due to this injury, the Swede may even end his career. A similar injury was experienced by the best Swedish footballer of the last twenty years in 1999, but he managed to recover and continue his career successfully.
Three other players from the Catalan club have suffered almost identical injuries this season - Edmilson, Gabriel, and Thiago Motta.
