Kenny Huang, leading the company "QSL Sports Ltd", claimed that a formal offer has not yet been made, but he is interested in the possibility of taking over "Liverpool".

"QSL Sports Ltd" is associated with a controversially assessed investment fund controlled by the Chinese government.

On Wednesday, Syrian businessman Yahya Kirdi announced that negotiations for the acquisition of "Liverpool" are progressing and his consortium should soon become the owner of the English team. However, he will not be the only one competing with Huang.

Altogether, at least six companies showed interest in the Liverpool team during the past week.
