Due to the thick and health hazardous smog covering the Russian capital of Moscow, several planned matches of the 16th round of the country's championship will not take place this weekend.

One of the league representatives confirmed that the matches between Moscow's "Spartak" and St. Petersburg's "Zenit", as well as Moscow's "Dynamo" and Moscow's "CSKA", are being postponed to a later time.

On Friday, the amount of harmful particles in the Moscow air exceeded the norm by almost five times.
