In the statement to the media, she claimed to be disappointed with London's "Arsenal" decision not to sell the midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Spanish champions tried to acquire the talented midfielder for several months, but kept hitting a wall with the English club.

Finally, on Friday Fabregas himself confirmed that he will remain in London for at least another year.

"Barcelona" regrets Arsenal's decision to declare Fabregas not for sale and not to consider the offers received. None of them exceeded 40 million euros," says the Catalan statement.

Fabregas' contract with the "Gunners" is valid until the summer of 2014.
