Arteta extended contract with "Everton"

Liverpool team defender Mikel Arteta has signed a new five-year contract with the team.

The 28-year-old Spaniard's new contract with Everton will be valid until June 2015.

Arteta had been linked with a move to another team, but after signing the contract, he admitted that he had always only thought about the future with the Everton club.
