One of the main architects of Bayern Munich's triumph in the Bundesliga championship was the Dutch striker Arjen Robben, who was named the best player of the last season of the German championship.
The right back from the Netherlands, who will be sidelined for about two months due to injury, received 445 votes out of 925 in a survey conducted by the magazine "Kicker". Close behind him were two other players from Bayern Munich - Bastian Schweinsteiger (180 votes) and Thomas Mueller (118).
