FIFA agent and Madrid consultant Ernesto Bronzetti insists that Maicon will stay at the Milan club.
This summer, the Spanish vice-champions did not hide their desire to acquire the talented Brazilian, but the possibility of selling him was rejected by "Inter."
"The negotiations practically never moved forward," Bronzetti told "Sky Sport Italia." "Every day I talk to 'Real' president Florentino Perez and I realized that the Milan team is asking for more than 'Real' would be willing to pay for a player of his age.
"It is true that Perez rejected the idea of acquiring Maicon quite some time ago, so these rumors should be put to rest. The Spanish are not looking for players in the Italian championship."
It is said that "Inter" demanded around 30 million euros for Maicon.
