Today, on Wednesday, the largest Italian sports newspaper "La Gazzetta della Sport" writes that two Italian clubs competing in the "Serie A" championship are interested in Marijampolė's "Sūduva" forward.
According to the Milan newspaper, the clubs are also watching Lithuanian national team player T.Radzinevičius, who is described in the article as a "second forward" (Italian - secunda punta).
The 23-year-old Lithuanian's name is briefly mentioned in an article about possible player transfers - two top league teams in the country, "Livorno" and "Siena," have so far scored relatively few goals at the start of the championship, and it is believed that they are looking for reinforcements in the attack.
As it is known, "Livorno" already has another Lithuanian national team forward T.Danilevičius, and it may be that the Italians noticed the Lithuanian during the recent World Cup qualifying matches, where Lithuania played against San Marino in the middle of Italy. In that match, the attacking duo of A.Liubinskas' team was made up of Danilevičius and Radzinevičius.
Starting his career in Marijampolė four years ago, T.Radzinevičius made his debut in the "A league" in 2002 and scored 14 goals, becoming the best player in the league. He also managed to score five times in the UEFA Cup, and one of these five goals was scored by the Lithuanian against the famous "Celtic" team.
