The Madrid club will have to deal without the injured defender Pepe for the next three weeks.
The 27-year-old Portuguese injured his leg during a friendly match in the United States against the "Galaxy" team from Los Angeles.
After conducting more detailed tests on the footballer, it was revealed that besides football, he will have to miss three weeks, so he won't have time to recover before the start of the new Spanish championship season on August 28th.
