Javier Mascherano - into Barcelona? Why not. That's what my Argentine agent thinks.
Horacio Zandonadi, who represents the interests of the footballer, stated that representatives of the Catalan club should not try too hard if they decide to attract his client to the team.
"Javier would gladly join Barcelona, but it all depends on the team itself," - these are the words of the player's agent quoted by the newspaper "Sport.es", based on reports from the radio station "Ona FM".
H. Zandonadi also doubted the statement that Barcelona would have to pay a large sum of money for the Argentine national team defender.
"I don't think he's worth a lot now. There are several objective reasons," the agent listed. "It's important to remember that J. Mascherano is no longer interested in Inter Milan, so he won't be in Rafael Benitez's team. Also, Liverpool currently needs money."
According to the agent, Barcelona could further reduce Mascherano's price if Alexander Hleb is included in the exchange.
