World Cup shining star Mesut Ozil hopes to transfer to Real Madrid by the end of summer.
The contract of the leader of Bremen's "Werder" with the German club expires next year. "When such an opportunity arises, you really want to take advantage of it," said 21-year-old Ozil. "Every footballer wants to represent one of the strongest teams in Europe."
The German also stated that he was disappointed that "Werder" did not inform him about the rejected offer from "Real". He found out about it by watching a TV report. "I was very upset about it," he said. "And I told that to sports director Klaus Allofs."
