The roster of London's Tottenham Hotspur may soon be joined by Jermaine Jenas, reports the English press.
According to the Daily Mirror, an Italian team would like to loan the footballer and have the option to buy his contract next summer for 12 million euros.
"The Old Lady" has been searching for a versatile midfielder for some time. The team had previously considered Roma's Lazio representative Cristian Ledesma, but now their focus has shifted to the English Premier League.
Meanwhile, Jenas has lost his place in the main Tottenham lineup and is eagerly considering the opportunity to move to Italy.
