Glasgow's right-back Andreas Hinkel will no longer play this season due to a cruciate ligament injury.
The former player of "Stuttgart" and "Sevilla", whose contract with the Scottish club expires next summer, got injured during training.
With the addition of South Korean Cha Du-Ri to the "Celtic" team, Hinkel lost his place in the starting lineup and was preparing to leave the team this month.
The 28-year-old footballer has worn the jersey of the German national team 21 times.
