Benitez satisfied with "Inter" fighting spirit © EuroFootball.com

The new Milan strategist Rafael Benitez, who won his first trophies with the club, said he was pleased with the players' attitude and fighting spirit.

In the Italian Super Cup match, Inter lost to Roma 0-1, but Goran Pandev later equalized the result, and towards the end of the match Samuel Eto'o scored two more goals and secured the victory.

"We lost, we didn't start the match well, but later we focused and won the game," said Benitez. "It is difficult to play such an important match at the beginning of the season when the players are far from their best athletic forms."

"The team has a lot of potential. This season we are setting ourselves goals that are no less ambitious than last season," the Spaniard mentioned about the season's goals.
