In the French championship, three matches of the third round took place on Sunday.
The "Bordeaux" club claimed their first victory in the championship by defeating Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 2-1 in an intense away match. The visitors took the lead after a goal by Alou Diarra, but Hoarau equalized the score in the 76th minute.
Despite the hosts having several excellent chances to turn the result in their favor, it was defender Michael Ciani's strike that secured the victory for "Bordeaux" already in stoppage time added by the referee.
The other two Sunday matches ended in goalless draws.
