The Russian champion Kazan has acquired "Hoffenheim" team's defender Carlos Eduardo for an impressive sum of 20 million euros.
About the 23-year-old Brazilian, who signed a four-year contract, coach Kurban Berdyev said: "He is a versatile footballer who can play in several positions. We are happy to have him on the team."
Carlos Eduardo was among the candidates to go to the World Cup with the Brazilian national team, but coach Dunga's decision left him out.
Last season in the German championship, he played 33 matches and scored 5 goals.
