Patrice Evra decided to appeal to the French Football Federation regarding the five-match suspension imposed on him.
The French federation handed such a punishment to the "Man Utd" defender for unsportsmanlike behavior during the World Cup, when the national team was rocked by unseen scandals.
According to Evra's lawyer, his client does not believe he deserves such a penalty. In fact, the new national team coach, Laurent Blanc, has also expressed his dissatisfaction with various sanctions imposed on five players.
