Defender Paulo Ferreira has decided to end his career in the Portuguese national team.
The 31-year-old London Chelsea footballer was still tried to be persuaded by the team's coach and leaders to withdraw from the team, but he has not changed his decision so far.
Ferreira wore the Portuguese national team jersey 62 times. The defender became the third player after the World Cup winners to announce that he is leaving the team. Midfielders Deco and Simao also took this step.
