Leverkusen's defender Sami Hyypia extended his contract with the team for another year.

What's more, the experienced 36-year-old football player, if he decides to end his professional player career, will be able to stay in the team and work in the coaching staff.

Hyypia arrived in Germany last season from Liverpool and has settled in the team excellently.
