The striker of the Lithuanian national team has a new club - a player from Glasgow Rangers has been loaned to another Scottish Premier League team for years.

As part of the deal, Aberdeen defender Richard Foster, who will represent Rangers under the same conditions next season, became involved.

The 31-year-old striker started his career at FBK Kaunas, later tried his luck in Russia, where he wore the shirt of Machachkala's Anzhi, and also played for Pavlodar's Irtysh in Kazakhstan.

Returning to Lithuania, Velička was one of the best Kaunas strikers, so he received an offer from Hearts of Edinburgh. After two successful seasons, he was bought for 1.2 million euros by Stavanger Viking in Norway, but soon after, the Glasgow Rangers leaders returned the Lithuanian to Scotland for the same amount.

For various reasons, the famous club's striker failed to establish himself, so he was loaned to Bristol City in the English second league, but he suffered an injury in his debut match and only returned to the lineup just before this season.
