UEFA has banned spectators from bringing vuvuzelas to stadiums at all of its organized competitions. The famous horns became popular after the World Cup held in South Africa, as they are an essential attribute for football fans in that country when watching games. However, spectators watching matches on TV complained about the annoying noise produced by vuvuzelas, and even footballers were not satisfied with it. According to UEFA's statement, the decision was made due to reasons related to European football culture and traditions. UEFA stated that the horns would change the atmosphere, and the constant loud noise of the horns would harm the European football culture.
