Stricken by injuries, Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate has not made it into the team for the first half of the English Premier League season.

There are fears that the 30-year-old footballer may be forced to end his career if the last groin surgery is unsuccessful.

Last season, Woodgate played in just three matches and underwent treatment with specialists in Australia and the USA.
