Lisbon greeted goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand and defender Tales de Souza.
Last season, Hildebrand, who wore the jersey of "Hoffenheim" and was the main goalkeeper, left the team in May and became a free agent.
"I think 'Sporting' is the right team for me," said the German. "It's a great opportunity for me to show what I'm worth in a foreign country."
The Portuguese club also reached an agreement with defender Tales de Souza, who was loaned from "Porto Alegre."
