FIFA plans to allow national associations to decide for themselves whether to use videos to punish football players for simulating fouls.

As players increasingly try to deceive the referee and thus benefit their team, authorities are concerned about this problem.

The Australian Football Federation recently suspended two football players who earned penalty kicks by simulating fouls. Sanctions were applied to them using video footage.

Interestingly, in this country, it is also taken into account whether such actions caused significant harm to the opponents. Since goals were scored in these cases, the football players were disqualified for two weeks.
