After the European Championship qualifying match with Lithuania, Scotland's national team coach Craig Levein did not hide his anger at the rough Lithuanian game and unsuccessful referee work, but was satisfied with the performance of his players.
The game ended goalless 0-0.
"I am completely satisfied with the players' attitude," the specialist said. "The biggest disappointment was the referee's work. Every time we found our game rhythm, the opponents started to break us down and commit fouls.
"Those guys committed five or six fouls, but were not warned."
The statistics show that Lithuania violated the rules 25 times, while the Scots - 21.
"It disappointed me because the Lithuanians used rough tactics trying to stop us," added Levein. "I think they were satisfied with the point they earned, as they realized we were better."
