After taking a short break when players left for national teams and with a two-week break in the Spanish championship, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho gave a huge interview to the Madrid sports newspaper "AS."

The interview is filled with the usual phrases that repeated in every sentence for the Portuguese: "I won", "I'm the perfect coach", "my team", "no one can give me orders", "this is my territory", "I am the master here."

Nothing new.

However, it is interesting that more than half of the interview is dedicated to J. Mourinho's reflections... about.

- Is this "Real" better than "Inter"?

- My "Inter" is better than the current "Real." But I work so that after a few months my "Real" will be the same as "Inter." And half a year later - my "Real" will be better than my "Inter."

- "Real" invited you, spent 80 million to buy six new players you wanted... all because they wanted to play a tie while "Barca" won 3-0 against Santander?

- Let me say it once and for all: "Barca" is a finished product. It's a football system and a football school. Victor Valdes, Carles Puyol, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi came out of it. They have been playing for the club for almost two decades. They are almost there from birth. It is a team that develops steadily, without major upheavals. There are no major contradictions in "Barca."

- Are they really worth such praise?

- Look at how the current team of Josep Guardiola plays and compare its playing style with Frank Rijkaard's "Barca." Or with Louis van Gaal, or Johan Cruyff's teams. They all play the same way for decades. Players change, you may like the leadership style of one coach or another, but it has always been played the same way. "Barca" is programmed. Like computer programs, it just needs to be updated periodically. As they say, "update." Download the "update" and the same programs start working in their updated version. However, I notice that they also spend a lot of money. They are clever. They spread the idea that they rely on their own graduates, that they grow stars in their cantera. Some believe this, although it is not entirely true. I am in Madrid to prove that I can compete with a finished product, with a program that has been operating for many years, updated with "updates."

- It is believed that you are a "defensive coach" and "Real" will win games with a score of 1:0...

- If we had won at Mallorca at least 1:0, everyone would be much happier now... Let me explain. My "Real" will always try not only to win but also to play beautifully. We and Mallorca created eight good chances, but we didn't take advantage of them. However, we will continue to create moments near the opponent's goal, attack and even take risks. My "Real" will not be afraid of losing. Never. You can be sure of that.

- In the Champions League, your "Inter" focused on defense and counterattacks.

- Not true. In the quarter-final match against "Chelsea," we won 1:0 at their stadium. The fans of "Stamford Bridge" lost hope after the final whistle. We could have scored four or five goals in London. We could have scored five goals against CSKA in Milan. In the semifinals held there with "Barca," we scored three goals against them, but we could have scored five...

- And in Barcelona?

- We played ten in Barcelona. It was a historic match for "Inter" because the club could not win the Champions League for half a century. The victory against "Barca" can be considered a feat. We tried to preserve the 3-1 victory at home. What else do you want?
