The new head coach of Birmingham in the coming years is expected to be Gerard Houllier, according to "SkySports".
Among the contenders to replace Martin O'Neill, who resigned in the summer, are mentioned Alan Curbishley, Sven Goran Eriksson, and interim manager Kevin MacDonald, but now the favorite is considered to be the Frenchman Houllier.
It is said that the club's leaders have already reached an agreement with the strategist, so his official appointment is expected at the beginning of next week.
