Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez confessed that he seriously considered a team offer, but at the last moment the team leaders convinced him that he has a future in the team.
The 25-year-old German did not play many matches last season with Bayern, so in the last days of the transfer window, Liverpool wanted to rent the forward.
"Interest from Liverpool came quite quickly, I started to negotiate with my family whether I should accept it," said Gomez. "But at the last moment, Bayern leaders convinced me that I am in their plans. I didn't need anything else."
Despite these words from the player, according to the press, the English team will try to attract Gomez again in January.
