The "Hoffenheim" club won their third consecutive victory in the German championship, deservedly defeating the struggling but expensive team from Gelsenkirchen "Schalke" 2-0 at home.
Center-back Isaac Vorsah put the hosts ahead at the end of the first half, and the guests had difficulty finding a way towards "Hoffenheim's" goal.
Jermaine Jones sealed the victory with a penalty kick, after which the ball hit the crossbar and ended up in the net after bouncing off goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
"Hoffenheim" team, having earned nine points out of possible nine, temporarily became the leader of the league until tomorrow. Meanwhile, "Schalke", stumbling three times, unexpectedly finds itself among the outsiders.
