David Trezeguet insists he is ready to return to the French national team if new coach Laurent Blanc needs his services.
The 32-year-old striker had a complicated relationship with former coach Raymond Domenech, which led him to step away from the national team two years ago.
"I know that France has talented young players, but if Blanc needs me, he knows he can trust me," Trezeguet told "Le Parisien".
This summer, the Frenchman signed a two-year contract with Spanish La Liga newcomers "Hercules" club.
