Just the second victory in the sixth round of the French championship was won by the "Marseille" club, beating "Arles" 3-0 away.
The first goal for the winners was scored by Bruno Cheyrou, and later the victory was secured by Andre Ayew, who scored twice.
"Arles" lost all games played so far and is in last place, while "Marseille" is in seventh place.
"St Etienne" climbed to first place, also winning 3-0 against "Montepellier".
In the 23rd minute, Dimitri Payet put the team ahead, and in the 60th minute he scored the third goal. Emmanuel Riviere scored the second goal in the 31st minute.
