And London's "Chelsea" club continues relentlessly, crushing "Blackpool" 4-0 at home and increasing their lead over the closest pursuers to four points.
Salomon Kalou led the hosts forward just a few minutes after a corner, and a little later Florent Malouda doubled the lead.
Didier Drogba started the opponents' rout with a ricochet, and Malouda delivered the final blow to the "Blackpool" goal just before the break.
In the second half, the guests recovered, and Petr Cech had to resist dangerous attempts by Alex Baptiste and Gary Taylor Fletcher, but the goal remained unharmed.
