The striker of the German national team and Bayer Leverkusen club, Stefan Kiessling, suffered a left foot injury and will most likely miss the next month's European Championship qualifying matches.
In Sunday's duel with "Nurnberg", the injured footballer had to leave the field after playing just 12 minutes.
However, doctors are not yet daring to predict how long Kiessling will be out of action, but he will most likely miss the matches against Turkey on October 8 and Kazakhstan just four days later.
