Matthaus will train the Bulgarian national team

The new coach of the Bulgarian national team is set to be the former famous German footballer Lothar Matthaus. The 49-year-old specialist will sign a one-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another two years. In 2004-2005, Matthaus coached the Hungarian national team and worked with several clubs, including Belgrade's "Partizan", "Atletico Paranaense", Vienna's "Austria", and others.
