London reached a new record of profitability - before taxes, the club earned 56 million pounds sterling (~66 million euros) in the year leading up to May 31, 2010.
Compared to previous years, the revenue increased by 45 million pounds. The biggest impact on these results came from the property sales on the site of the former "Highbury" stadium.
Thanks to these results, the company that owns Arsenal was able to repay over 130 million pounds of debt to banks and reduce the total debt from 300 to 135 million pounds.
